THE SPA AND THERMAL WATER OF ZALAKAROS
Zalakaros is situated in the south-western part of Hungary, its 15kms away from the town of Nagykanizsa and it became international well-known because of it’s thermal water.
The famous spa water proved to be really effective at the treatment of chronically gynecological complaints, chronical tendon pains and inflammations and at the follow –up treatment of orthopedics, neurosurgical and surgical patients and at the treatment of gums as well.
Pools filled with spa and thermal water cover an area of nearly 4000 m2s altogether, the temperature of the water is 32-36 C and it’s suitable for curing and for doing sports as well. In the spa center balneological treatments and after-care services can be required:
Bubble bath with carbon –dioxide, Jacuzzi, underwater massage, weight bath, expanding bath, carbonic acid bath, hand massage and vibrax, electric stimulus bath, full body galvanic bath, dry carbon dioxide bath.
A complete spa treatment of 2 or 3 weeks can contribute to the recovery of patients with complaints about nervous breakdown, neurasthenia, and exhaustion.
