Description
Hostel Banki is a dorm with a great downtown location, one street over from the mighty Nyugati (Western) railway station. This means that a host of shops, including the huge Westend City centre are just around the corner, and inner city transport access is superb. Stroll 15 minutes West and you are in Margit Island Park, a longer walk in the opposite direction will take you up scenic Andrassy ut to Heroes square and Szechenyi thermal baths.
We are sorry to inform you that Hostel Bánki is not operating during the summer of 2011 due to reconstructions. Although we are looking forward to welcome you in 2012!

Directions
| Parking: | There is a huge parking garage in Westend City Centre for an extra charge. It is approximately 5 minutes from the hostel by walk. |
| Location: | Hostel Banki is located in the city centre on the Pest side near to the 4-6 tram line and Nyugati train station. It is easily accessible via the blue metro line (M3) |
| Rail: | From Keleti Railway Station take the red metro (M2) or bus number 7, 173, 5 to Blaha Lujza Square and use tram 4/6 the way to Moszkva Square. Get off at Nyugati Train Station and then walk. |
| Airport: | From the airport take bus number 200E to Kőbánya-Kispest and change for M3 (blue metro). Get off at Nyugati Railway Station (Nyugati pályaudvar) and walk 5 minutes the way to Oktogon. Then turn right when you find Podmaniczy Street. |
Sights
Thanks to the excellent location of this student accommodation, there is no time to be bored. Beside the biggest shopping mall, Westend City Center, there are several fancy clubs, elegant restaurants and fast food places in the neighbourhood. The popular Liszt Ferenc Square offers several opportunities for those who would like to be part of Budapest's nightlife.
